What it means for you
For a subscriber or a finance team building a budget around Claude, a page that quietly folds a named product into the base plan changes what a screenshot from last month is worth as a record, since the seat price and the feature list under it can move without a separate announcement anywhere else. Anyone comparing a Pro subscription against Team seats now has to check whether the annual up-front figure or the monthly figure is the one being quoted, because the page prints both side by side and a casual read can pick up the wrong one.
In more detail
Anthropic’s public pricing page changed between polls this week, and the clearest change on the page is a note at the top: “Claude Cowork is now just Claude,” rolling out first to Pro and Max subscribers. Where the page once listed Cowork as its own line, the individual plans section now folds its capabilities, described on the page as hand-off and scheduled tasks, into the standard Claude product a Pro or Max subscriber already pays for.
Underneath that change, the page still runs its familiar ladder. Free stays at no cost. Pro lists at $17 a month when paid annually, with $200 billed up front, or $20 a month if billed monthly. Max starts from $100 a month and offers a choice of five times or twenty times more usage than Pro within the same five hour session window. Team plans separate Standard seats at $20 a month from Premium seats at $100 a month, both billed annually, and Enterprise keeps its published rate of $20 per seat per month plus usage billed at API rates.
The page also carries fresh per-token pricing for two models. Fable 5.1 is listed at $10 per million input tokens and $50 per million output tokens, with cached read pricing at $0.25 per million tokens. Opus 5.5 is listed at $4 per million input tokens and $20 per million output tokens, with cached reads at $0.20 per million tokens. Both sit above the unchanged Sonnet 5 and Haiku 4.5 rows, and the legacy models section below them still lists Opus 5, Opus 4.8, Opus 4.7, Opus 4.6, Opus 4.5, Fable 5 and Sonnet 4.6 at their earlier, higher per-token figures.
The numbers
- Pro: $17 a month billed annually ($200 up front), or $20 billed monthly.
- Max: starts from $100 a month, with five times or twenty times the usage of Pro.
- Team: $20 for a Standard seat, $100 for a Premium seat, both per month, billed annually.
- Fable 5.1 and Opus 5.5 both carry new published per-million-token input, output and cache rates on the same page.
Nothing on the page states an effective date for the Cowork merge or the new model rates, so the only record of the change is the page itself as read today, which is why a poll-based diff is the anchor for this item rather than a press release.
